Approach/Strategy |
The programme is launched with 300 acres in 10 habitations of 3 Grama Panchayats of Mulugu and Thadvai Mandals of Warangal district.
Ramchandrapur and Ravojithanda of Kodishalakunta Grampanchayat Villages from Mulugu Mandal has been choosen for Implementation, which is located on the national highway 202 about to 7 kms from the road & 60 Kms from Hanamkonda. The selected beneficiaries from this village are 90% of tribals and remaining 10% SC and other caste people are selected as the participant beneficiaries.
From Thadvai mandal 9 habitations are selected from Lingala Grama Panchayat
The Gram Panchayat is located 80 kms away from Hanamkonda district head quarter
The habitations covered in Lingala Grama Panchayat are Lingala (Grama Panchayat) Botilingal, Kodishala, Voddugudem, Lavvala Pochapuram, Bandala, Alligudem, Narsapur |
Main Activities |
Each farmer family in the village are supported with 1 acre Horticultural Crop- Mango as a core component and other Orchard Species Amla Forest Species: Bamboo, teak and Eucalyptus Live hedge: Oil leaf tress and Henna and Inter crop: red gram, ragi and other suitable short duration crops desired by the participants, to provide regular income to the tribal family.
Depending on the choice of the farmer a suitable inter crop is included. Each & Every farmers land is Fenced for the Maa Thota to protect their plantations from the animals.
