Goal |
To enhance the poor rural women for their sustainable livelihood through the income generation program and improve the economic status of the needy women and their families |
Objectives |
- A minimum of 50% increased income of the members of women groups by the end of the project in 10 villages
- Increased economic, nutritional and health status of the target families
- To give financial assistance for 50 women for purchasing of 100 milk animals in 10 project villages
- To organize meetings with the women groups and beneficiaries to educate them about the project components.
- To raise the income level of the target families to bring to the above poverty line
- To provide sustainable livelihood to the women
- To improve the quality of life, economic conditions and provide source of income to the target families to minimize their problems and needs related to the financial matters of the families

Approach/Strategy |
People who are living below poverty line and belonging to the socially and economically deprived sections of the society are the beneficiaries of the project. They are mainly categorized into SC and other backward communities in the society
The Criteria for receiving the revolving fund to purchase of milk animals are
- Regular attendance to the group meetings and credit programs.
- Attendance of the member should be above 75 percent.
- Must be active participation in the decision making process.
- Interested towards the development of group and family.
- Able to sign her name in the records.
- Must adopt small family norms.
- Not be a willful defaulter.
- Regular savings and repaying the loans to the groups.
- Participate in the village development activities.
