INTRODUCTION
Sarvodaya Youth Organisation (SYO) is a secular, grass root non-government and non-profit making organisation established in the year 1993. It is registered under Indian Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and Ministry of Home Affairs under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 1976 (FCRA No. 0010360067). It is formed to promote and enhance sustainable rural, tribal and urban development and to create opportunities to the vulnerable and disadvantage sections of the community inorder to enhance their socio-enconomic status. SYO belives in the integrated approach, participatory planning, demonstration, exposure visits, empowerment and capacity building for the project implementations considering the community decision as final.
OBJECTIVES
- To alleviate poverty and protect environment
- To improve and bring changes in the community, social, economical and cultural
- To help and enhance the rural poor men and women and differently abled person in their development process
- To reduce/stop the various incurable diseases and social misbehaviours
- To promote livehood and food security
- To act as a resource and knowledge base centre
ACTIVITIES
- Partnering with the various developmental organizations and maintains transparency
- Planning and project implementation with respect to the Vision and Mission
- Integrated and participatory approach in the projects and programmes
- Conducting capacity building and empowerment programmes
- Campaign against HIV/AIDS, G.M Crops and various developmental process
- Equitable, Justifiable and commitment towards the developmental process
